Looking for host that comes with free-for-life domain
Yeah, so I’m looking for a new host that comes with those free-for-life domains. I already know that they’re only free-for-life as long as you’re with that specific company.
I run a small site with forums, but I’d like to have some room to grow. Maybe around 2-4 gigs of space and around 10-15 gigs of bandwidth. Budget is around 7-10 dollars a month, and I can only pay by credit card. I realize that I will most probably have to go with an overselling host, but I’m willing to take my chances.
Also, a question: sometimes I have around 7-10 members online at the same time, and I think it’s causing the slowdown on the site recently. Is that really enough to slow down a shared account?
Given all of the information (and especially the first requirement!), here are some of the hosts I’m looking at, sorted by price per year: SiteGround, BlueHost, HostMonster, Lunarpages, DreamHost.
Any opinions on which overseller is the most workable one? Any more suggestions? Also, if any of these include the domain free for the first year only, please correct me.
