Finding unregistered 3 / 4 / 5 character domains

Just a general question - would it be useful to have a list of available 3 / 4 / 5 character domains (all letters)?

Teaching myself programming and I have knocked upa few scripts that do all combinations and then tries to see if they have been registered before making a list of unregistered names.

If its useful I may run the scripts now and again and put lists up somewhere, if not I’ll slip quietly back into the darkness and carry on learning some programming.

All 3 and 4 char .com are already registered. Of course you might find the odd bad 4 char domain that doesn’t get picked up and drops. But in that case it probably isn’t worth much. You should concentrate on 5 char .com. There are many unregged domains. Probably VLVLV, LVLVL, and any pronounceables might be worth something. Buy I wouldn’t auto reg ANY, because you will be registering a lot of crap.

I’d say it could be fairly useful, but may only be targeting a small audience.

I’d make a script that finds available ones, and then buys em, so you can resell them later, but thats just me.
